New Windy factory building update
Despite the challenging weather that often includes strong winds and snow, the construction project is progressing on schedule. The exterior walls and roof of the production hall have been successfully installed, which is a significant milestone, the overhead traversers are already in place. The foundational framework for the lower section of the building, which will accommodate the warehouse, office spaces, and additional areas, has also been erected.
There are less than 48 hours between the photos.
Windy brand strategy workshop
This week, we had an exciting and inspiring event that marked the official start of our new brand strategy project. The workshop, held at the Windy HQ, brought together a dynamic group of creative minds to brainstorm and lay the foundation for the future direction of the Windy brand.
During the workshop, we explored both big and small questions, delving deep into the core identity of Windy. We discussed everything from the origins of the brand and how it has evolved over time, to where it stands today, and most importantly, where it’s heading in the future. The session was filled with diverse perspectives, with team members contributing their thoughts on what makes Windy unique and how we can best capture the essence of our brand as we move forward.
The workshop also featured thought-provoking conversations around the visual identity of Windy – from our logo and color palette to typography and imagery. The goal of these discussions is to refine and enhance our brand’s visual appearance, ensuring that it accurately reflects our values and vision for the future.
As we move into the next stages of this exciting project, there’s a palpable sense of anticipation and enthusiasm within the team. It’s clear that we are not only looking at a visual transformation but also redefining what Windy stands for and how we connect with our audience moving forward.
These are exciting times indeed, and we can’t wait to share the results with everyone!
Windy SR40 Premieres at PIBS 2025
Windy is proud to debut the SR40 at the Palma International Boat Show 2025, marking the world launch of this exciting new model. The SR40 is the latest addition to our SR Sports Boat Line and the sixth new Windy boat model in the last three years, showcasing our commitment to performance, craftsmanship, and innovation.
The SR40 combines Windy’s legacy of high-quality, seaworthy boats with modern features for enhanced comfort and versatility. With a sliding roof, disappearing doors, and roof racks for sporting gear, it’s an ideal family sports boat that excels in both performance and practicality.
Designed with the helmsman and passengers in mind, the SR40’s refined cockpit offers Windy’s legendary ergonomics, with large sliding side doors providing protection from the elements. The boat’s layout creates a spacious feel, and the open design allows for seamless outdoor enjoyment.
Sitting between our Classic Sports Cruisers and SR Yacht Tenders, the SR40 appeals to a new generation of Windy enthusiasts. It’s built for both speed and stability, with a seaworthy hull that ensures a smooth, safe ride in various conditions.
The SR40 blends traditional values with cutting-edge innovation, setting a new standard for sports boats. We look forward to showcasing this remarkable model at PIBS April 30 - May 3 2025.
Full Speed in the Windy Production
There are busy times in the production at Windy head Quarters, as the winter is slowly fading away and spring is around the corner in Sweden. Today we have no less than 6 large bespoke Yacht Tenders in production at the same time, each vessel heavily customized to client specification.
The new SR40 Production Line is now filling up, with the first two SR40’s in the final stages of testing, prior to their world premiere at the Palma International Boat Show at the end of April.
Several Windy Classic Sports Cruisers will be finished before the summer and put into the water in beautiful locations around the world to fulfill the dreams of some happy customers of ours.
Exciting times and we look forward to the summer deliveries.
Windy SR60 With Fully Enclosed Helm
The Windy SR60 with a fully enclosed helm offers enhanced comfort for both crew and guests, regardless of the weather. With climate control options like air conditioning and heating, the helm provides a sheltered space. The sliding doors stack open seamlessly with no threshold, while the aft window can be fully opened or closed, allowing for a customizable environment. Under the hard top, the area remains enjoyable at all times, whether you're seeking fresh air or protection from the elements. This option elevates the Windy SR60's luxury and versatility on the water.
WINDY BOATS New Large Production Hall in Sweden
The construction of the new Production Hall on Sweden's picturesque East Coast is now rapidly gaining momentum. Just today, we saw the steel framework starting to go up. This new facility is a game-changer, with an additional 2300 square meters of production space we will be able to almost double our production and importantly build more advanced and larger vessels.
This growth also means we’re expanding our team! We’ll be hiring approximately 50 new employees, welcoming fresh talent and enthusiasm to the Windy family. It's an exciting time for anyone looking to join a forward-thinking and passionate team.
Set in a breathtaking location on the Baltic coastline, this new part of the factory will be a stunning environment for both the team and our customers. The entire facility is expected to be completed by Q4 2025. We can’t wait to see where this expansion takes us – there’s so much to look forward to!

Windy Scandinavia Marina AB expands in Stockholm
We are excited to announce a new chapter for Windy Scandinavia Marina AB (WSMAB)! On 1st March, we will be relocating our offices to the stunning Moranviken Marina in Saltsjöbaden, Stockholm, marking a significant expansion for the company.
This move opens a world of new opportunities for our clients in Stockholm, as we’ll be able to offer even better services with an improved location and facilities. With a prime position in the heart of Saltsjöbaden, our new location will provide enhanced storage capabilities, more berthing options, and an expanded range of services, including the ability to showcase vessels indoors.
WSMAB’s Mattias Kolm and Henrik Grape, CEO of Moranviken Marine, is incredibly excited about what’s going to come. This relocation will allow us to deliver an even more seamless and exceptional experience for our clients, and we can't wait to invite you all to explore the new space.
